An UPDATE ON THE HOSPITAL

Well, folks, we thought this day would never come! Here's the long awaited update on the hospital build...

In case you missed it, we have OFFICIALLY broken ground!

For the last TEN years, we've talked about building our surgery center-hospital.

The day is FINALLY here.

Through setbacks and challenges, pauses in progress and a global pandemic, we've persevered, and we can finally say that the concrete is being poured, and the massive renovation of our hospital building in Iquitos is underway.

Check out the photos below for some exciting construction shots...

workers pour cement for foundation

workers demolish wall

excavator drives through construction site

truck delivers concrete to workers

As you can see, demolition is in full swing!

We are SO grateful to everyone who has contributed their time, volunteering hours, and their donations to getting this project off the ground.

But we still need your help. Giving Tuesday is just around the corner, and from now until then, every dollar donated to our DonorSee campaign will be matched.

Monthly donations -- whatever size they may be -- provide us with continued funding to keep this project rolling and support our general fund.

How else can you help? Spread the word, far and wide.

People of Peru Project is BUILDING OUR HOSPITAL!
