People of Peru Project is dedicated to providing life-changing humanitarian aid in Iquitos, a city of 700,000 at the headwaters of the Amazon River, surrounded by vast jungle. Faced with extreme poverty, the community battles disease, parasites, malnutrition, rampant tooth decay, sexual abuse, and premature death.

We fight human trafficking and child exploitation, offering care and support to vulnerable young girls and their babies abandoned on the streets or in the jungle. Partnering with local governments, social workers, and family courts, we work tirelessly to create safe, sustainable futures for those in need. 

Through the support of volunteers and donors, we provide thousands with medical and dental care, education for disadvantaged children, community health education, and opportunities for emotional and spiritual growth. Together, we aim to transform lives and build a healthier, stronger future for the people of Iquitos.
