Sam Sullins

Sam Sullins is one of our repeat long term volunteers.  He has been here multiple times working on the POPPYS House construction project.  Sam has brought a level of construction expertise that has made this process efficient and organized.

Sam´s contribution to the building project has been such a blessing but his love for the kids at POPPYS House has built more than dorm rooms and water towers. Every day you will see Sam running a 10 man crew while fatherless children climb on his shoulders, steal much needed hugs and receive focused attention while they practice their English or share a quiet moment.

	Papa Sam.......When he is not pouring over blue prints or construction budgets, is filling the role of "dad" to the kids in POPPYS house.
This is the new dining room, kitchen, library/computer center and two studio apartments for the long term volunteers. The first floor ceiling or second story floor is being formed in this picture.
	Here are some volunteers from Corona California after hanging the ceilings in the upstairs portion of the second building. The apartment behind them will be living quarters for one of our administrative couples. Short term volunteers like these three can get a lot done when Sam has the materials, tools and plans ready before they arrive.
