Robert Folkenberg Checks up on Daughter  ;-)

A few months ago we were privileged to have Elder Robert Folkenberg as our guest at People of Peru Project. I would love to tell you that it was me he was coming to visit but that simply is not true. Kathi, his daughter was serving as the director of POPPYS house, our home for girls in crisis, and before she and her family left for the US, Her father, mother, uncle and aunt came for a visit. What a blessing they were to us as they shared YEARS worth of experience and insights into the development and operation of organizations like ours. 

The morning devotional time was extra special because Elder Folkenberg speaks fluent Spanish from many years of ministry in South and Central American countries.
	Elder Folkenberg preaches at the local, open air church, where our girls attend weekly.
The POPPYS house girls sang a beautiful song at the close of the worship service. (The tall one is Kathi)	It almost looks like I am be threatened by Gabby and Bridgett.......hmmmm
